About Juvenile Pre-Post
Juvenile Pre & Post is an independent digital newspaper covering Youth, Skills, Family, Student and Education. School is a series of decisions with deadlines attached, and Juvenile Pre-Post exists to make those decisions clearer. It is part of VUGA Network, a group of independent digital publications published in the United States.
How We Work
Everything is written as a guide or an explainer, with a bias toward methods that have been tested. Spaced practice and retrieval get more space than study playlists, and where a technique is popular but unsupported, the article says which studies failed to find an effect. Costs are named too: exam fees, application fees, equipment lists, the real price of a gap year.
What We Cover
Youth covers what teenagers and young adults face outside the classroom — first jobs and pay rights, managing money, time online, early independence decisions — written for young readers directly and without lecturing. Skills builds abilities that transfer between subjects and into work: structuring an argument, writing to a brief, presenting to a room, interpreting charts, managing deadlines, with practice tasks in each article. Family examines education from inside the household: revision routines that do not wreck a home, disagreements about phones and bedtimes, and how siblings with different results are handled. Student News reports examination format and grading decisions, admissions changes, funding announcements and term disruptions — short, dated and attributed, before rumors harden into belief. Education News covers the companies charging students and families: tutoring providers, exam boards, publishers, housing operators and education technology firms, tracing how each reaches a household bill.
Advice here is judged by one standard: whether a student or parent can act on it before the next deadline.
