BOCA RATON, FL, UNITED STATES, February 12, 2024 /EINPresswire.com/ — JARC Florida, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that provides programs and services to educate and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is hosting its 38th Annual Gala on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. The event kicks off at 6:00 pm with cocktails followed by the program start and dinner at 7:00 pm. This year, the first annual Lynne & Howard Halpern Award for Champions of Special Needs will be presented to Toby and Leon Cooperman during the event. The evening celebrates 38 years of helping extraordinary people lead ordinary lives and looks forward to a bright future.

With Lynne Halpern and Naomi & Richard Steinberg serving as gala chairs, entertainer Sam Simon will be the master of ceremonies for the seventh year. A silent auction will take place, co-chaired by Judy Rosen and Ronni Sommer, and a raffle to win one (1) of three (3) amazing experiences or a $5000 cash prize is sponsored by Elizabeth & Peter Levine with winners being announced at the gala. Raffle tickets can be purchased here for $100/each or six (6) for $500.

JARC’s 38th Annual Gala will raise money to support JARC FL and its essential programs and services including the Dr. Allen & Annette Stone Adult Day Training Program, The Selma & Irving Ettenberg Foundation Community Works and ADAPT (Adults Aging in Place Together). Last year’s event raised more than $600,000. Zirulnick says the organization’s goal is to surpass that number this year.
